How does the 14-day free trial work?
The Starter plan includes a 14-day free trial. The trial begins when you approve the subscription through Shopify during the MarginLab installation and billing process.
You can explore the available Starter features during the trial before paid billing begins.
How is my subscription billed?
MarginLab subscriptions are managed through Shopify Billing. Charges appear through your normal Shopify billing process rather than being collected separately by MarginLab.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. There is no long-term commitment. You can stop using MarginLab by uninstalling the App or using any subscription-management option made available through MarginLab or Shopify.
Cancelling stops future renewals according to the applicable Shopify billing process. Charges already processed are handled under the MarginLab Refund Policy.
What is included in the Starter plan?
Starter includes the core MarginLab profitability experience: dashboard analytics, product-level margin analysis, profit-risk detection, missing-cost identification, Profit Intelligence, AI recommendations and CSV export.
It is designed for merchants who want clearer visibility into store profitability without advanced forecasting and simulation tools.
When will the Growth plan be available?
Growth is currently being completed and will become available after its advanced features have been fully developed, tested and integrated into the MarginLab Shopify App.
The final release may include adjustments to the feature set shown on this page. Confirmed details will be published when Growth launches.
Will I be able to upgrade from Starter to Growth?
Yes. Once Growth becomes available, eligible Starter merchants will be able to choose the more advanced plan through the MarginLab billing experience, subject to the options available at launch.
Does MarginLab change product prices automatically?
No. MarginLab analyzes profitability and provides insights, simulations and recommendations. Pricing and other business decisions remain entirely under the merchant’s control.
Do the free calculators require a MarginLab subscription?
No. MarginLab calculators, Academy resources and educational content can be used independently from the Shopify App. A paid subscription is required only for the applicable features inside the App.
